In the fully closed position, the SBA generates a defined closing force, thereby ensuring that the valve closes securely and forms a tight seal. The load- and stroke-dependent end-of-stroke cut-off protects the valve from excessive force and ensures controlled movement during sensitive regulation and control tasks.
Precise stroke for reliable control
Thanks to its direct connection to the valve stem, the SBA accurately measures the actual valve stroke with no play. The mechanical stroke indicator, which features an anti-rotation device, makes the position easy to track—clear, robust, and located directly on the actuator.

Robustly designed for a long service life
With an IP65 protection rating, a rugged metal housing, and jam-resistant motors, the SBA is ready for continuous industrial use. The maintenance-free spur gearbox and robust design reduce maintenance requirements and protect against external influences.
Modular design for flexible expansion
The modular design allows for easy functional expansion. Whether it’s a potentiometer, electronic position feedback, positioner, Profibus module, local control unit, or compact connector—the SBA can be adapted to meet a variety of system requirements.
